The 19-year-old defender comes from the youth development program of Ajax and was part of the A-juniors of coach Danny Blind the past season. Maduro won the national championship with the juniors, scoring 17 goals in 24 matches. Maduro also played four matches for Young Ajax. Earlier this month he was elected Talent of the Year amongst the Ajax youth players.
